You know how in those moments… a friend‘s diagnosis, the death of a loved one, so much awareness shifts. You have experiences no one talks about but most have. Something within urges you to think about what you really want or don‘t want for your own life… or your own
death. But most likely you don’t talk about it.

However, you can never deny your experience. You know you don‘t want to die without really living. You hope you won‘t spend your last years in a home or last days in a hospital. Somehow, you want all your days, your beliefs and your life to be honoured. But none of this will do any good, unless you do something about it.

Today is the day to begin.

How do we want to live the last days of our lives?
What’s important to us between now and then?

A one-day event to talk about what matters most.

Appropriate for all who want to learn how to engage in these conversations for themselves, or those they care for including: individuals, family members, healthcare professionals, carers or volunteers, from all beliefs or spiritual traditions.

Together we will:

  • Talk about it
  • Understand the personal and national need for these conversations now
  • Clarify what matters most to us and why
  • Realise the bridge between our personal beliefs and our experiences
  • Learn what‘s possible and some resources that are available to help
  • Practice how to let those we care about know what matters most
  • Hear how engaging in these conversations will be critical to our communities moving forward

Discover how talking about this now can improve all the days of our lives:
